Learning Objectives

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

1. Become familiar with chlorhexidine allergy presentation and appropriate skin testing.

2. Understand the role of drug challenges in perioperative anaphylaxis.

3. Develop an approach to iodinated contrast allergy in the surgical setting.

4. Foster multidisciplinary collaboration between anesthetists and allergists to manage patient with anesthetic allergies.
